A world's first in winemaking, Jacob's Creek Double Barrel wines are made in wine barrels and then finished in whiskey barrels to enhance the wine flavour. This Cabernet Sauvignon has been made in traditional French and American oak wine barrels and then finished in dry Irish Whiskey barrels. The whiskey barrels have more stays which allows the wine to breathe more as it matures, adding texture and maturity. The result? A very approachable and smooth red wine with strong crimson characters and aromas of blackcurrent, eucalyptus and black olives, and dark fruity and coffee caramel flavours. Great with a good steak or beef dish.
