Delivery Options at Big Barrel Online
Big Barrel Online offers a quick and reliable delivery service.
When you checkout you will be asked to select your delivery address. This determines your freight charges automatically. Freight charges for mainland North Island and mainland South Island are as below:-
$9: Covers a case of 12 bottles or upto 18KG
$7: Covers between 3-7 bottles or upto 10KG
$5: Covers between 1-2 bottles or upto 5KG
Freight will be calculated on weight and/or number of bottles ordered. Some items may be charged differently at our discretion. We reserve the right to review the freight charges from time to time.
Please note there will be additional freight charges for any International or other local NZ islands other than North or South Island. Please check with us before placing your order. We also cannot accept P.O. Boxes as an acceptable delivery address. We cannot accept or give the courier company 'Authority to Leave' - as our products contain alcohol we can not risk packages falling into the wrong hands!
For Napier and Hastings City areas a flat fee of $5 per 12 bottles or upto 25KG will be charged. Rural areas may attract additional freight charges.
We do offer bulk delivery options. Please contact us for your bulk requirments and one of our sales representatives will be more than happy to assist.
Delivery Time Frames:
All orders placed during working days will be delivered within 2-3 days dependant on stock levels. Orders placed after hours, on the weekend, or orders for rural areas may take upto 2-5 Working Days. Saturday deliveries can be arranged by contacting us via email or phone - additional charges may apply.
Punctuality of Service:
Please note, that although we endeavour to provide fast and efficient service, we are unable to guarantee the punctuality of service provided by our delivery agents, particularly during spells of difficult weather conditions, or other reasons beyond our control. If your shipment is delivered unacceptably late after having been collected from us on time by our agent then we may try to secure a refund where appropriate or possible.
We take pride in packing your orders to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit. If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery, we request that you refuse the parcel. Just tell the courier to return the goods back to sender. We will re-send the same order within 24hrs of confirmation from the courier about the damage.
Out of Stock Items:
There may be occasional out of stock issues from our suppliers due to various reasons out of our control. In such cases we will contact you within 24 hours of placing your order - except on weekends where it may take up to 48hrs. We will either refund you those items in full or substitute them with something else upon your approval.
