Glen Garioch 1797 Founders Reserve Single Malt 700ml

Nose: Lots of caramel, butterscotch, buttery, very sweet with white chocolate poking through. There was an underlying peppery, nutmeg spicy feel as well. Overall very welcoming with lots of potential. Palate: Very mouth coating and with some dryness. Plenty of barley, cereal notes. Finish: Grain continues, distant peat, quite warming but not overly long. Comments: Quite an easy going style, but the intensity, texture and strength holds the whisky together.
